Privacy Policy

ACESLIVEPH respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights as a reader. Plain English, no legalese.

What we collect

We collect three categories of data:

• Email addresses you give us — when you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email and (optionally) any name you provide. That's the only personally identifying information we ask for.
• Anonymized analytics — page views, referrer, country, browser type. Collected through Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-respecting and does not use cookies or fingerprint visitors. No personal data is collected here.
• Affiliate referral tracking — when you click an affiliate link to an operator's site, the operator's referral system tracks the click for commission attribution. ACESLIVEPH does not store this data; the operator does. Their privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

What we don't collect

• We don't collect IP addresses for tracking purposes.
• We don't use behavioral tracking cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party advertising trackers.
• We don't fingerprint browsers.
• We don't sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone.

How we use your email address

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we use your email to:

• Send you the twice-weekly newsletter on Tuesday and Friday.
• Occasionally notify you of major site updates (a new feature, a major article).
• Deliver the free quarterly digest PDF to your inbox.

That's it. We do not send promotional emails for third-party operators, even our affiliate partners.

Third-party services we use

• Beehiiv — hosts the email list and delivers newsletters. Beehiiv privacy policy.
• Plausible Analytics — anonymized site analytics. Plausible privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — DNS and DDoS protection. Cloudflare privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — typography. Fonts load from Google's CDN; standard browser caching applies.

Data retention

Newsletter email addresses are retained for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe (one click in any newsletter footer), your email is removed from active sends within 24 hours and deleted from our records within 30 days.

Anonymized analytics data is retained for up to 24 months, then aggregated and the underlying records discarded.

Your rights

You can at any time:

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter (one click in the footer of any email).
• Request a copy of any personal data we hold on you (just email privacy@acesliveph.com).
• Request deletion of your data (same address).
• Request correction of your data (same address).

We will respond to all data requests within 14 days, faster where possible. For Philippine residents, ACESLIVEPH complies with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and is registered with the National Privacy Commission.

Cookies

ACESLIVEPH uses minimal cookies. We do not use behavioral or advertising cookies. The only cookies set on the site are functional (e.g., remembering whether you've dismissed a banner) and Plausible Analytics is configured cookieless. No cookie consent banner is required because we do not set tracking cookies.

Children's privacy

ACESLIVEPH is intended for adults 21+ in the Philippines and 18+ in most other jurisdictions. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided personal data to us, contact privacy@acesliveph.com and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll notify newsletter subscribers by email and post a prominent notice on the homepage at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
